EPC for selling your home
You need a valid EPC before your property goes on the market. We make it the easiest part of your sale.
The basics
What it is & who needs it
An Energy Performance Certificate rates your property's energy efficiency from A (best) to G, and is a legal requirement before a home can be marketed for sale in England and Wales.
Certificates last 10 years, so if you bought within the last decade you may already have a valid one — check the Gov.uk register, or ask us and we'll check for you. If you need a new one, we'll visit, assess, and have your certificate on the register the same day.
Legal requirements
What the law says for sellers
✓You must have commissioned an EPC before marketing the property for sale.
✓The certificate (or its rating) must be shown on property listings.
✓An EPC is valid for 10 years and can be reused within that period.
